Zwingend notwendige Netzteil Schaltkästen zum Betrieb Ihrer Heizfolie

Um den richtigen Schaltkasten für Ihre gewünschte Folie auszuwählen, legen Sie zunächst die Länge Ihrer gewünschten Heizfolie fest. Dies können sie ganz oben auf dieser Seite erledigen, indem Sie aus den 14 Längen-Varianten für Ihre Heizfolie wählen. Aus der Liste der Heizfolien-Variationen entnehmen sie neben der Länge gleichzeitig und bequem die Wattzahl Ihrer Folie. Hinweis: Je länger Ihre gewählte Folie ist desto höher ist auch die Wattzahl für Ihre Folie.

Richtigen Schaltkasten für Heizfolie wählen:
Wenn Ihre gewählte Folie zum Beispiel eine Wattzahl von 357W hat, benötigen Sie einen Schaltkasten, der für diese Wattzahl ausgelegt ist. In unserem Sortiment aus Schaltkästen wäre das in diesem Fall ein Schaltkasten, der für mindestens 500W ausgelegt ist. Unser Schaltkasten mit 350W kommt für die beispielhafte Folie mit 357W nicht in Frage, da dieser Schaltkasten nur für maximal 350W ausgelegt ist. Wählen Sie also immer die nächst höhere Stufe und stellen sicher, dass der Schaltkasten eine ausreichend hohe Wattzahl zum Betrieb Ihrer Folie bereithält.

Carbon heating foil – self-adhesive and easy to wallpaper!

The carbon heating foil is a further development of our “normal” heating paint. Our infrared heating, marketed under the brand name Reboheat Carbon heating fabric, is easy to install and reliable in its heating performance.
Carbon, also known as carbon fiber, is extremely conductive and ideally suited for heating purposes.

The structure of the carbon fibers makes it possible to integrate super-thin coatings without electrical wires on suitable substrates such as our specially developed heating fabric film .
The heating fabric is extremely resilient and robust. Due to the fine structure of the material, the mat is also open to diffusion. The component covered with the heating fabric is still breathable!

A particular advantage of our radiant heating is the heat output. Conventional heating systems heat the room air by convection. The rising warm air also swirls up a lot of dust. An absolute horror for allergy sufferers.
Our Reboheat heating fabric generates infrared radiant heat and heats all objects in the room rather than the air. The air is almost dust-free and a blessing for anyone who is allergic to dust!

Our heating fabric can be operated with 24V to 48V extra-low voltage. The reduction from 230V to the necessary low voltage of 24V-48V is carried out by modern, noiseless switching power supplies and no longer by conventional toroidal transformers. The size of the power supply units depends on the installed length of the heating foil.

Example wall-ceiling installation: You wallpaper 4 lengths of Reboheat heating fabric, each 2 meters long, on one wall. That is 8 m x 213 watts = 1704 watts total output. A power supply unit with 2000 watts and 48 V must then be installed.

Example floor: You lay 3 strips of heating mat, each 3 meters long. That’s 9 meters x 95 watts = 855 watts total power. For this you need a power supply unit with 1000 watts and 36 V power.

Example of mold prevention: You bond 1 sheet of Reboheat heating fabric with a length of 6 meters. That is 6 meters x 45 watts = 270 watts total power. Now you need a power supply unit with 300 W and 24 V power.

Heated wallpaper and insert

With our new type of mat, sometimes also called heating wallpaper, the inexperienced layman can now install a large-area infrared carbon heating system according to his wishes. When planning the heating surfaces, the desired application of the heating is important.

The heating foil can be applied to critical wall surfaces, for example, as additional heating to prevent mold growth. The heating output can be kept very low, as only very low temperatures (15°C-18°C) are required to heat just the wall. A 24 V power supply unit is used for the power supply.

Would you like to use the Reboheat heating fabric as underfloor heating? No problem! The heating strips can either be glued to the floor with a commercially available adhesive (e.g. tile flex adhesive) or laid floating under laminate, parquet or carpet.

Power is supplied in the floor area by a 36 V power supply unit that guarantees a maximum temperature of 30°C. A temperature sensor is also required to monitor the floor temperature. When installing under tiles, for example in the bathroom or kitchen, the fabric mats are filled with tile adhesive.

Reboheat heating mats are particularly suitable for full heating on walls or ceilings. The film is applied like wallpaper. A good flexible tile adhesive can again be used for bonding. As we require higher radiation temperatures of up to 40°C in the wall and ceiling area, we use 48 V power supply units here.

The power cables for supplying the individual heating tracks are routed and connected to the 24V – 48V control unit behind the baseboard, for example. The heating power of the heating fabric is 235 W per square meter or 213 W per m. The maximum width of the web is 900 mm, with a heating width of 870 mm.

Heating foil and control unit.

Once everything is installed as you wish, the only thing missing is the heating control system. We have several options for this.

  1. If your heating system is an area that is rarely used, it can be controlled with a timer.
  2. For regular use, we recommend thermostat control. There are also various options here.
  3. If the switching power supply unit is installed in the same room, use our so-called socket thermostat.
  4. If the heating tracks are installed in several rooms, a central control unit with several radio thermostats for the individual rooms is recommended.

Is everything installed and warm and cozy? Then the heating should also be invisible and that is very easy. The heating surfaces are filled with a commercially available fine plaster. Then apply paint, wallpaper, tiles or flooring and the heating is gone! Hanging pictures or installing a socket at a later date is no problem. The heater consists “only” of paint and fabric, so you cannot damage the heater. The heating output is not impaired by holes or cut-outs.

What else do you need?

*To select the correct switch box for your desired foil, first determine the length of your desired heating foil. You can do this at the top of this page by choosing from the 14 length variants for your heating foil. From the list of heating foil variations, you can easily and simultaneously determine the wattage of your foil as well as the length. Please note: The longer the film you select, the higher the wattage for your film.

Select the correct switch box for heating foil:
For example, if your chosen film has a wattage of 357W, you will need a control box that is designed for this wattage. In our range of switch boxes, this would in this case be a switch box designed for at least 500W. Our switch box with 350W is not suitable for the exemplary foil with 357W, as this switch box is only designed for a maximum of 350W. So always select the next higher level and make sure that the control box has a sufficiently high wattage to operate your film.
