Step 1: Preparing the surface<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Inspection<\/strong>: The surface to be covered (wall, ceiling, floor) must be firm, dry and stable. This must be checked before bonding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Step 2: Bonding or applying the film<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Remove the protective film<\/strong>: Peel off the protective film on the back of the heating foil to expose the adhesive side.<\/li>\n
    • For non-self-adhesive films<\/strong>: If the film is not self-adhesive, it is recommended to attach the side with the blank, copper-colored electrical tape to the wall.<\/li>\n
    • Attach<\/strong>: Press the heating mat onto the intended surface and continuously peel off the protective paper until the entire mat is stuck on. Make sure that no air bubbles are trapped.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Attach the crimps<\/strong>: First connect the cable to the crimps. Then press the crimps onto the copper strips to ensure a firm connection. Use the crimping pliers specially designed for the crimps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Heating foil as carpet heating against cold feet<\/span><\/h3>\n

                Every year the uncomfortable season comes around again with rain and unpleasant cold! It gets dark early again and everyone is happy to be in the comfort of their own home. What could be nicer than sitting in an armchair reading the newspaper or watching an exciting movie on TV? But very often the coziness is disturbed by cold feet! And nothing is more uncomfortable than cold from the floor. Many people wish they had heating on their feet. But retrofitting underfloor heating is not only expensive, but also very time-consuming. <\/span><\/p>\n

                We have thought about it and use our heating foil as underfloor heating!<\/strong> The 1.5 m long and 90 cm wide heating fleece is placed under the carpet together with an insulating foil. The heating mat and insulating foil are only 3 mm thick in total and are invisible under the carpet! Then connect the power supply unit and switch on the new carpet heating with the remote control. A cozy 38 \u00b0C within a few minutes and: Goodbye cold feet!<\/strong> The heater works with 48 volts direct current and consumes only 230 watts of electricity. That’s not even 5 cents per hour in electricity costs, but it means comfort and warm feet!
