Rebotherm Carbon Heating Panel 300 W – Integrate heat into walls and ceilings
The Rebotherm heating panel combines a gypsum fiberboard with a carbon heating surface. It is integrated into the drywall and, after professional surface finishing, forms an inconspicuous part of your wall or ceiling. Visible radiators and water-bearing heating pipes are not required for this room heating system.
Technical data
- Heating capacity: 300 W per panel
- Operating voltage: 48 V DC
- Panel dimensions: 1,500 × 1,000 × 12.5 mm
- Panel area: 1.5 m²
- Application: Wall and ceiling heating
- Operation via a suitable Rebotherm terminal or control box
- Temperature control via separately available room thermostats
Particularly suitable for suspended ceilings
For a new drywall ceiling, the heating panels are first mounted and connected. After the functional test, the remaining ceiling surfaces are closed with suitable drywall panels. Jointing and surface finishing are then carried out according to the processing specifications of the gypsum fiberboard manufacturer and the recognized rules of drywall technology.
Ceiling mounting keeps the heating surfaces free of furniture and gives you plenty of freedom when furnishing your rooms.
How many heating panels are required?
The number required depends on the room size and, in particular, the insulation status. For initial guidance, you can calculate with the following flat-rate values:
| Insulation standard | Assumed heating demand |
|---|---|
| New build / very well insulated | 40 W/m² |
| Well insulated | 60 W/m² |
| Moderately insulated | 80 W/m² |
| Poorly insulated | 120 W/m² |
How to calculate the required number of panels:
Room area × assumed heating demand ÷ 300 W per heating panel. The result is rounded up to full panels.
Example: A well-insulated room with 20 m² results in an assumed heating demand of 1,200 W at 60 W/m². This requires four heating panels of 300 W each.
The table values are non-binding guide values and do not replace a room-by-room heating load calculation. In fact, windows, room height, external surfaces, location, and desired room temperature, among other things, can lead to deviating values. You can obtain an exact heating load calculation from a specialist planner for heating technology or a suitably qualified energy consultant.
In case of poor insulation, we recommend checking for improvements to the building envelope first, as otherwise high electricity costs may occur.
Unsure about the insulation status or the number of panels required? Send us a floor plan and details about the building – we will be happy to assist you with an initial assessment.
Power supply and room control
For operation, you need a terminal or control box with 48 V DC suitable for the total output. A separate thermostat is required for each separately controlled room. The power supply is designed according to the room layout and the heating capacity per room.
A maximum of four heating panels with a total of 1,200 W may be connected per supply line. The execution of the lines and connections is carried out according to the installation instructions; the mains connection and required protective measures are handled by a qualified electrician.
Scope of Delivery
One Rebotherm carbon heating panel with 300 W including connection terminals. Control box, room thermostats, connection cables, and mounting accessories are not included and are selected separately to match the system.
Larger projects
A maximum of 100 heating panels per order is intended for direct shop purchase. For larger quantities, we will be happy to create an individual calculation and a suitable offer for you.
