The Superwall interior insulation board is the space-saving solution for cold and damp exterior walls. Thanks to the double vapor barrier, it reliably prevents mold growth - both in front of and behind the insulation - and reduces heating costs by up to 45%.

Advantages of Superwall interior insulation

  • Mold stop: Double vapor barrier protects the insulation from moisture.
  • Space-saving: Only 10 mm or 20 mm thick with excellent thermal insulation value (λ = 0.022 W/mK).
  • Energy-efficient: heating cost savings of up to 45 %.
  • Simple processing: Cut to size, bond over the entire surface with dispersion adhesive, fill edges.
  • Versatile design options: Can be painted over, wallpapered, plastered or tiled directly.
  • Robust & lightweight: Extremely pressure-resistant, no water absorption, resistant to solvents and adhesives.

Why Superwall?

Moisture is one of the biggest challenges in interior renovations. Without a vapor barrier, condensation can be stored in the insulation - often resulting in mold. Thanks to its vapor barrier on both sides, the Superwall board provides double and permanent protection.

Technical data

  • Panel structure: Sandwich element with PUR rigid foam core, cardboard top layer on both sides (cellulose cardboard, PE, aluminum foil, tissue paper)
  • Formats: 1,250 × 800 × 10 mm and 1,250 × 800 × 20 mm
  • Thermal conductivity: 0.025 W/mK
  • U-value: 2.50 W/m²K (10 mm) / 1.25 W/m²K (20 mm)
  • Compressive strength: 0.35 N/mm² at 10 % compression
  • Temperature resistance: -20 °C to +100 °C (up to +160 °C for short periods)
  • Fire behavior: B2 according to DIN 4102
  • Standards: DIN EN 13165, DIN EN 13501-1, DIN EN ISO 9001

Processing instructions

The insulation boards can be easily cut to size and glued to the entire surface of the wall with dispersion adhesive. The surface can then be painted, wallpapered, plastered or tiled. The smooth, white surface is particularly suitable for thin wallpaper or non-woven wallpaper.
